Kids Health Connection

Families across Palo Pinto County are invited to attend the annual Kids Health Connection this Friday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church, 100 S.W. Fourth Ave. in Mineral Wells.
The free, family-friendly event is designed to connect parents and caregivers with local health services, support programs and community resources for children of all ages.
Organizers say the event offers a one-stop opportunity for families to meet area agencies, learn about available services and enjoy interactive activities geared toward children.
Several local organizations will be on hand with booths and hands-on experiences, including a teddy bear clinic hosted by Palo Pinto General Hospital’s emergency department, healthy snacking tips, hydration education, posture activities, prize wheels, seed giveaways and games.
Community groups expected to participate include healthcare providers, counseling and wellness organizations, youth advocacy groups, family support agencies and local nonprofits.
Additional attractions are expected to include a photo booth, giveaways and kid-friendly activities throughout the morning.
Admission is free, and families are encouraged to stop by anytime during the three-hour event.
Kids Health Connection will be hosted at First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells.
