Unity Field in Honor of Veterans Day

FREE FAMILY EVENT
We will honor our local heroes, both past and present, with beautiful Hero banner displays, 500 American flags (tagged for loved ones), a Car Show (registration begins at 9:30 am), live musical performances, and other activities.

Special Ceremony in honor of Veterans Day at 1 pm
The field is open all day to walk and take pictures throughout the day except during the 1-2 pm ceremony

The program, “Unity Field” is a poignant tribute designed to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country in the United States Armed Forces or First Responders. The event takes place during the months of Memorial Day and Veterans Day, two significant dates that commemorate the sacrifices and contributions of military personnel.
The Unity Field features a vast field adorned with over 500 American flags, each meticulously arranged in rows and columns. These flags symbolize the unity, strength, and resilience of the nation, as well as the collective gratitude for the sacrifices made by veterans, first responders, and their families.
Leading up to the event, community members, organizations, and businesses are invited to sponsor hero banners and flags in honor of specific veterans, first responders or military personnel. Each flag is accompanied by a personalized tag, bearing the name, rank, branch of service, and additional information provided by the sponsor. www.steelhope.org/herobanner
On Memorial Day and Veterans Day, the gate to Unity Field opens to the public, welcoming visitors to walk among the flags, reflect, and pay tribute to the heroes they represent.
