Owl Prowl – Lake Mineral Wells State Park

Did you ever hear or see an owl at night?. . . Here is a good opportunity!
Meet at the Lone Star Amphitheater to learn the importance of owls in Texas. We will begin with a slide presentation featuring screech owls. Then, we will call the owls and listen for their response. We may take a walk to several nearby locations for more responses. Bring your favorite lawn chair.
Held at the Lone Star Amphitheater in Lake Mineral Wells State Park, 100 Park Road 71, Mineral Wells, TX, 76067. Accessible for the mobility impaired. The program is free with paid park entrance fee or a State Park Pass.
