Mutton Bustin’ – Rodeo Event

The Mutton Bustin’ qualifying tournament is back!
Qualifying Tournament Information:
– Date: Saturday, April 27, 2024
– Time: Registration begins at 7:45 am (and continues until everyone has ridden)
– Riding begins at 8:00 am
– Location: PPCLA Rodeo Arena
– Cost: $25.00 (Cash or debit/credit card accepted) There will be a 3% processing fee for using a card.
– The child must be at least 3 years old and must weigh no more than 60 pounds (child must be present at sign up to verify age and weight – no exceptions) Parent/guardian must be present to sign waiver.
In addition – ropes, harnesses, and spurs are prohibited while participants are riding. Riders must wear a helmet and a vest (provided by Justin Boots)
– Each child will be allowed to purchase ONE re-ride ($25) [Only the best time will be considered for advancement to the performances]
***The top 30 times (length of ride) during the qualifying will advance to the rodeo performances top 10 times will ride on Saturday, May 4th
– next 10 times will ride on Friday, May 3rd
– next 10 times will ride on Thursday, May 2nd
Rodeo performance qualifiers will receive a t-shirt and the top scorer in each rodeo performance will win a buckle. (There will be NO walk-up registrations on the night of the rodeo)
