Coffee Tasting and Coaster Making

Wake up with Coffee & Creativity!
Create a handmade coaster from the versatile raffia palm-a traditional material in places like Columbia. Sharon Heard will be leading, an artist with an eco-friendly mission! While crafting, learn about Specialty Coffee from Richard and Nelly Hill, owners of Piamonte Coffee. This Specialty coffee is ethically produced at La Lucia Farms in Columbia, and supports both the environment and their local farmers.
This class includes three coffee samples, one uniquely crafted coaster, and a souvenir Clark Gardens coffee mug.
Piamonte will also have one-pound whole grain, one-pound ground coffee, K-Cups, and 5lb bags of whole grain for purchase during the event.

Sharron Heard is a creative soul weaving sustainability into art! With a passion for eco-friendly practices, she crafts one-of-a-kind treasures, including beautifully woven coasters made from the versatile raffia palm. Coffee Tasting with Richard and Nelly Hill with Piamonte Coffee
Richard and Nelly Hill, Owners of Piamonte Coffee, will be teaching others about Specialty Coffee. Piamonte’s Specialty coffee is produced with ethical and sustainable practices, which benefits both the environment and the farmers who produce it.
Piamonte Coffee comes from La Lucia Farms in Columbia and integrates more than 50 years of family tradition with blessed soil and an exceptional microclimate. By using a unique sorting process along with consistent roasting, they offer an exquisite tasting experience. Piamonte Coffee grades above 85 on the professional tasting scale which is considered excellent!!
Learn about the different brewing techniques and what goes into producing a true specialty coffee- Tastings included! This class is great for a girls day out, date day, corporate team building, or for anybody interested in becoming more knowledgeable about specialty coffee.
