Hiking isn’t about the destination, though our Western Cross Timbers woodlands offer some amazing naturescapes and wildlife. Instead, hiking is about the journey to reconnect with nature and rediscover yourself along the way.
Nestled in the valley of the Palo Pinto Mountains, the Mineral Wells area boasts more than 30 miles of trails from lake views and rocky bluffs to wetlands and woodlands. There’s no shortage of fresh air and inspiration for your journey. And because Mineral Wells is well-removed from the noise of urban life, our trails are a great place to clear your mind and restore your soul.
